I have slipped down the Eurosport Super League, but am hoping to turn things around this weekend.

Robert Green did a great job for me when I brought him in a fortnight ago and he repaid me with a clean sheet.

But that good work was undone as West Ham were spanked 3-1 by Newcastle without Green even making a save.

Needless to say, he is history, and I have brought in his opponent on Saturday, Manuel Almunia of Arsenal.

Much has been made of the Gunners' poor record against their cross-town rivals, but they are on a high and should have more than enough to take care of business.

Gary Speed is another newcomer as Bolton face off against Derby. The Welsh veteran is not a fashionable selection - but that could play into my hands as he is relatively cheap. He is in for
Antoine Sibierski.

Finally Jermaine Pennant gets the nod in midfield on account of the supply of crosses he gives to the Liverpool strike force, with Mark Noble making way.

It is always a bit of a risk bringing in Liverpool players thanks to Rafa Benitez's squad rotation system, but I am hoping Pennant starts at Wigan - if he does, he should do me proud.

I am now at the foot of the Super League, and I can tell you the view from the bottom is educational. But it is still tight, and a good weekend could propel me back to the top.
